A transformation is currently unfolding to bring new life and vision to this 13 year old coffeehouse. We strive to maintain its charm artistic character and revolutionary spirit, while making it more accommodating to our community.

The corner of Evo's had been a dirt lot for decades since an old bathroom that sat there was removed (the lot used to be a gas station). In the spring of 2006, a process began to reclaim this corner and convert it to a secondary patio area. The grand centerpiece of this area is a gazebo made by Ashland local Pete Cislo. The tree that made this structure was struck by lightning 30 years ago near Emigrant Lake. After many years of peaceful life in the countryside, the gazebo chose Evo's as its new home so that it could enjoy the bustle of town-life and do some people watching. Here it has received love and attention from local artisans who have helped renew and transform it into a viable seating area. It quickly became a landmark for the coffeehouse corner!
